Hamas announced the freezing of negotiations with Israel on the release of hostages after the murder in the suburbs of Beirut of a member of the leadership of the movement. The head of the Hamas politburo called the attack a "terrorist attack" and a violation of Lebanese sovereignty. And the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah has already said that "this crime will never go unanswered and unpunished."
