Monument to babushka with victory banner unveiled in Mariupol

A new symbol of the fight against fascism appeared in Mariupol. A monument to babushka Anna with the Victory Banner was installed on Leninsky Komsomol Square. The woman came out with a Soviet flag to the Ukrainian military and refused to exchange the banner for the food. This was stated by the first deputy head of the Administration of the President of Russia during the solemn speech. Sergey Kiriyenko noted that babushka Anna became a living symbol of the continuity of generations.
