UN characterizes situation in north of Gaza Strip as hell on Earth

The IDF continues to advance deep into the urban neighborhoods in Gaza. There are fierce firefights with representatives of the militant wing of Hamas.

According to media reports, Israeli tanks have blocked passageways to several city hospitals - a detachment of Israeli forces is approaching Al-Shifaa Hospital. Earlier, it was hit from the air (killing 13 people and injuring dozens). There are reports of bombardment of the area where Al-Quds Hospital is located. Many people seeking refuge in hospitals cannot evacuate as the roads are blocked.

The UN has characterized the situation in the northern Gaza Strip as hell on Earth! Thousands of residents of the enclave remain without medicine, water and food. According to the WHO, 20 of the 36 hospitals in the Strip are not working. And the remaining ones can only provide a minimal level of services.
