German Nazi accounts found in Swiss bank
The Swiss bank Credit Suisse serviced German Nazi accounts until 2020. The investigation was published by a US Senate committee. A human rights organization uncovered information about 12,000 Nazis who fled to Argentina. Many had accounts in a Swiss bank where money confiscated from Jews was kept.
According to the information, Credit Suisse serviced the accounts of nearly a hundred people who were either high-ranking Nazi officials in Germany or members of Nazi-affiliated groups in Argentina. Seventy accounts were opened after 1945. At least 14 of them continued to be serviced into the 21st century.
