U.S. military aircraft flows in vicinity of Nord Streams on night of attacks

A U.S. Poseidon military plane flew flights in the area of the Northern Streams incident on the night of the attacks. This was reported by Reuters. The plane was observed at the same time when Swedish seismologists detected the first tremor with force of two points, which was later identified as an explosion.

The Pentagon and the US State Department flatly denied any involvement of Washington in the two attacks that deprived Europe and, in particular, Germany of more than 100 billion cubic meters of gas a year.

Meanwhile, there has been some strange fiddling around the investigation of the two incidents in which three strings of Nord Streams were damaged: Denmark and Sweden stated that they do not intend to invite Russia to participate in the investigation.

Moscow, in its turn, is ready to establish its own investigative group if it is not invited to an international one. There are different opinions about the prospects of restoring the pipelines: Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak, in particular, said that gas supplies at one of the strings can be restored in the shortest possible time.
