China International Expo - number of agreements and memorandums signed

A large joint project of the two countries takes pride of place at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

A large-scale model of an international standard swimming pool, which became a real gift from China to Belarusians for November 7. The project of the sports facility is proudly presented in the main pavilion as part of the infrastructure of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.

We are introducing a swimming pool and, in the near future, a stadium of international level. Infrastructure for training international athletes has been created. Therefore, Belarus as an infrastructure platform for the implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative is very well prepared.

Alexander Chervyakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China:

"The Belarusian exposition is causing a real stir in Shanghai. There are queues to try our cuisine. By the way, a number of agreements and memorandums have already been signed. Thus, right on the EXPO fields, the Belarusian Kommunarka and a large Chinese food supplier signed a contract".

About 60 Belarusian enterprises are taking part in the exhibition. Business negotiations are constantly taking place at each stand. In 2023, our enterprises took away contracts and agreements worth almost 450 million rubles.
