Belarusian pianist V. Khandogiy wins competition in San Remo
Belarusian pianist Vladislav Khandogiy won the International Competition of Russian Piano Music in San Remo. The competition for gifted musicians lasted for several days in an offline format and brought together more than 30 participants from all over the world. Only three pianists were chosen to participate in the final, where the compositions are performed together with the orchestra. Our 19-year-old countryman performed Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. And according to the results, he was named the best not only by the members of the professional jury, but also received the audience's sympathy prize. In addition, he won a special prize named after Scriabin. The talented musician will have an opportunity to perform with the San Remo Symphony Orchestra in the next music season in 2022.
Vladislav has many other victories and competitions, as well as international tours and performances in London, Paris, Dubai, New York. Now the young man is studying at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
