Bolshoi Theater of Belarus invites to Ballet Summer
The Bolshoi Theater invites the spectators to the Ballet Summer. It will open with "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky, staged by Valentin Elizariev. The part of Siegfried will be performed by Bolshoi Theater premier Denis Rodkin. Despite the summer, the program next week will include Christmas fairy tale "The Nutcracker", premiere of 2019 "Anna Karenina" and performance that opened the 88th season at the Bolshoi "Peer Gynt". The festival will end with a gala concert of world ballet stars.
"Ballet Summer at the Bolshoi" is not only choreographic steps on stage, but also in other forms of art. So, today the theater will open a photo exhibition of Mikhail Nesterov "Ballet. Mythologemes". It presents long exposure photographs. And tomorrow, before the performance, for the first time there will be a lecture on ballet art from ballet historian, critic, candidate of art history, professor Olga Rozanova.
