Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus brings Christmas Fairy Tale to Moscow

The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus brought a Christmas fairy tale to Moscow. The touring performances of our theater on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia continue. “The Nutcracker”: will be presented tonight. The ballet to the music of the legendary Tchaikovsky will be shown in the new author's version by the art director, People's Artist Valentin Yelizariev. Since its first premiere in 1982, “The Nutcracker” has become one of the most popular touring titles demonstrated in nearly 20 countries.

By the way, “The Nutcracker” gathered a standing ovation at the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia in 1984. The restored performance retains the concept, costumes, and scenery by folk artist Yevgeny Lysik. 250 representatives of our Opera and Ballet Theatre came to perform in Moscow.
