By Yuliya Tokar: Ahead of Independence Day, the Vyshyvanka Day event kicked off the festive marathon in Minsk. This symbol is a national ornament. An intricate pattern has long been considered a kind of protection. These days, it serves as a kind of a "pass" to the festive events. The main condition of the dress code is clothes with Belarusian ornaments.
In Minsk, a large open-air event took place near the Sports Palace. The event featured the City of Craftsmen, a concert of creative collectives, literary living rooms, and photo-zones.
