Gomel artist revives ancient technique of carved icon painting

Ancient arts come alive in hands of Gomel artist of half a engaged in revival of carved traditions of Iconography. He created several hundreds of wooden icons, with each detail carved by hand. In his works the artist tries to show the most rare biblical themes. The works of the master are kept in private collections on several continents.
