Art project "Membrane" start in High Place art lounge
They are united by friendship, creative credo, and the alma mater of the Academy of Arts. The art project "Membrane" of four Belarusian artists was launched in the art-hall High Place. The exhibition about fifty works in absolutely different techniques. While the works by Maria Karpenkova are an intuitive expression, the paintings by Dmitry Cheremnykh are dominated by a figurative symphony of colors. Andrey Karpenkov presented a series of abstractions created in the dripping technique. That's when the artist achieves the desired effect with the help of drips, splashing paint on the canvas. Oksana Chutseva's B&W art is based on mythological material and fascinate with its melodic lines.
The artists were inspired to create a joint exhibition by the very concept of the word "Membrane". Each of them expressed this concept in his own way.
