Kopyl ready to host XXVIII of Written Language Day
The town on the hills and the Mozha River is the birthplace of more than fifty writers, literary scholars and scientists. Among them are Tishka Gartny, Kuzma Chorny, Ales Adamovich, Adam Rusak and others. The festival will take place this weekend under the motto "Words Unite Us". The organizers have taken care to turn the city into a global interactive platform. The augmented reality technologies will be used during the opening ceremony on September 5. On the same day, the winners of the National Literary Award will be awarded. The online contest "The Living Classics" was attended by 16 thousand talented young readers from different parts of the country.
The XXIX Belarusian Written Language Day will be held in Dobrush
This holiday will be held in the Year of the People's Unity. The 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Kopyl and the anniversaries of famous writers will be specially emphasized. The press conference also announced the next city for the Belarusian Written Language Day - it will be Dobrush, the birthplace of the writer Ivan Shamiakin.
