Belarus 3 honors International Day of Music

Handel, Monyushko and Rachmaninov will officially open the 83rd season at the Belarusian State Philharmonic. A gala concert with the participation of the largest academic orchestras - chamber and symphony - will take place today. Belarus 3 will broadcast it at 10.45 pm. This opening will be the culmination of the Belarusian International Day of Music. The world celebrates it for the 45th time at the initiative of UNESCO. Our socio-cultural channel has prepared an on-air collection of musical stories: reports from the gymnasium-college at the Academy of Music, an interview with the People's Artiste of Belarus, conductor Alexander Anisimov and a biographical film on the balalaika, guitar and violin in the project "Guki y Futlyary".

Birdman suite will be played in the Concert Hall of Kultura channel, a work by the Belarusian composer Alexander Litvinovsky. 11 tunes in the style of old English ballads will be aired at 7 pm. The Belteleradiocompany Symphony Orchestra will perform it on the air.
