Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theater turns 95

The Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theatre celebrates its 95th anniversary! The staff of the theatre was congratulated by the President on this occasion. Alexander Lukashenko said that over the years of active and fruitful work, the theater has come a long way and occupy an honorable place in the cultural space of Belarus. And thanks to the talented acted devoted to their vocation and enthusiastic about their favorite work, the theater has won a large and charitable audience of admirers and the recognition of professionals. The repertoire of the theater includes plays of different genres: from ironic nice drama to modern parable and tragic grotesque by Belarusian and foreign authors. Every year, the festival of stage readings "School Theater" is held here.
