Putin: "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" gained well-deserved international prestige
The Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk art festival has gained a well-deserved international prestige. This fact was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his greeting to the participants and guests of the XXXIII International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". The congratulatory telegram was read out at the opening of the forum by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk, reports BelTA.
"Over the past years, the Vitebsk festival, held under the motto "Through Art - to Peace and Mutual Understanding", has gained well-deserved international prestige. For composers, singers, poets, artists and performers of various genres it provides a good opportunity to demonstrate talent and skill, communicate with colleagues and friends, share experience and creative plans," the Russian President emphasized.
According to him, the Slavianski Bazaar program is traditionally very rich and diverse. "I would like to note that this time a special place in it is occupied by the events timed to two significant anniversaries - the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Union State," Vladimir Putin pointed out.
"I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization of the festival. I am confident that it will serve the noble goals of spiritual unity and mutual enrichment of the cultures of the brotherly Slavonic peoples, will contribute to the development of multiculturalism."
