Serbian actress Ivana Zigon brings international creative project to Minsk

"While the Earth Is Still Turning..." - the international creative project under this title was brought to Minsk by Serbian actress and director Ivana Zigon. A series of concerts will be held in the creative universities of the capital with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus. The first audience and participants were students of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. The musical and scenic performance is a joint Serbian-Belarusian-Russian project that has its roots in history. Instead of dry numbers and dates, the author reveals the depth of the Slavic soul through the poetry of Blok, Vysotsky, Okudzhava. The production begins with the words of the famous bard for a reason. The text of "The Prayer" acquires a special meaning in today's reality. At a time of persecution and oppression of the Slavs, Slavic culture should be promoted more widely than ever. Russian theater and film actor Alexander Tsurkan also took part in the concert program.

Tomorrow the concert "While the Earth Is Still Turning..." will be held at the Academy of Arts, and the day after tomorrow at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts at the same time. Ivana Zigon will stay in Minsk for several days. The joint production of "Idiot" in the National Academic Drama Theatre named after Maxim Gorky is planned.
