Fanfare of jubilee Slavianski Bazaar to sound tonight in Vitebsk

The festive fanfares of the 30th anniversary Slavianski Bazaar will sound tonight. Nikolai Baskov, Larisa Dolina, Elena Vayenga, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Ottawan band will headline the opening of the festival. And that's just a small part of popular performers' names. A flag-raising ceremony was held in the morning of July 15 at the foot of the Summer Amphitheater. Despite the predicted boycott of the anniversary "Bazaar" from the opposition pages, there was no place for spectators along all perimeter of Victory Square.

Gift concert to festival Vitebsk by Grigory Leps

Grigoriy Leps brought not just a couple of famous songs to Vitebsk, but the whole live concert which lasted for an hour and a half. And he performed not in the Summer Amphitheatre, but on the usual city square, the entrance to which was absolutely free.

Not only the citizens of Vitebsk, Minsk and Orsha were seen on Victory Square. Foreign fans of the festival arrived as well. Russians were the majority among them.

The viewers of Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 will be able to watch the grand opening at 22.00.
