Lent Concerts festival starts today in Minsk

Reviving cultural traditions is the motto of the festival "Lent Concerts" which starts today in the capital. Immerse yourself in the depths of the divine hymns and hear the masterpieces of world classical music. The initiative of nun Juliana Denisova, composer and senior regent of St. Elisabeth Monastery was supported by the Belarusian State Academy of Music. And now for the 4th time the event in the world of spiritual melodies will gather listeners in the days of Lent. This season, the festival will be held at two venues: the stage of the Great Hall of the Academy of Music and Maxim Tank Pedagogical University. In addition to concerts, on March 14 an open concert is planned. Nun Juliana will give a practical lesson at Minsk Theological Seminary. And the festival will end on March 23 on the stage of Kupala Theatre with a charity concert of the festive choir of St. Elizabeth Monastery.
