Museum "Memory Road" opens in Patriot Park near Moscow
The unique exhibits from the Brest Fortress were displayed in the new museum in Moscow Region. The length of the new complex "Memory Road" is 1418 steps. This is how many days and nights the Great Patriotic War lasted. The gallery consists of 35 halls. Each is dedicated to one of the most important events.
The Museum contains more than 100 units of Soviet weapons. Among them is Lyudmila Pavlichenko's mauser. She was a famous female sniper who personally killed 309 enemy soldiers and officers. There is a jacket and boots of Hitler, a globe of Mussolini in the exhibition. There is also a virtual archive of war participants from all former Soviet Republics.
