Vladislav Khandogiy reaches finals of Van Cliburn Piano Competition
Belarusian pianist Vladislav Khandogiy has reached the finals of the Van Cliburn Piano Competition in Texas. The prestigious forum has been held every four seasons since 1962. Fort Worth will offer $256,000, the total prize money for this season's international music battles. First prize winner will receive $100,000. Belarusian Vladislav Khandogiy is a grant holder and winner of the Grand Prize of the President's Fund.
Piano Competition in the United State
The final stage of the competition is the performance of two piano concertos. The choice of virtuosos - works by Beethoven, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff and other masters of the classical school. The musical intrigue will be resolved on June 18. Conductor Marin Alsop will preside over the jury.
