Lithographs of world's leading illustrator Gustave Dore displayed for first time in Minsk

The official opening at the Center for Contemporary Arts is scheduled for August 27. The exhibition includes 130 original drawings for the works of Dante, Cervantes and La Fontaine. Each work is supplemented with a specific quote illustrated by the author. By the way, it was Dore in the 19th century who diversified more than 100 texts with the author's graphics, which later received worldwide recognition.

A combined collection from private collections in England and America in tandem with Belarusian art. Sculptures and paintings from two dozen artists represent myths and legends. By the way, viewers are encouraged to explore Dore without a guide, but with the help of a quest.
