Anniversary celebrated by Belarusian State Puppet Theater

The theater turned 80. In the repertoire of the theater there are performances not only for children, but also for adults. And they are known far beyond their homeland. This is confirmed by the numerous awards of foreign festivals. However, on the holiday, the doors of the Puppet Theater are closed for the public, the building is under repair.

Passages will become wider and the capacity will decrease. The repair will eliminate one of the main problems of the auditorium, the noise that comes from the adjacent cinema "Pioneer". The walls will be covered with soundproof material.

The updated hall will be accepted by the public on September 21. In total in the jubilee season the oldest Puppet Theater of the country will give three premieres. Now the team is busy preparing the program of their creative party. Due to the repair, the celebrations in honor of the 80th anniversary of the theater are announced for October.
