А. Lukashenko: We start resetting joint economic space

Resetting joint economic space of Belarus and Russia. 28 programs, common military doctrine and migration policy from Kaliningrad and Brest to Vladivostok. Our President signed the integration decree at the meeting of the Supreme State Council the night before. The document was also previously endorsed by Vladimir Putin. The program clearly defines the mechanisms for the development of a single economic space. Each of the parties confirms its intention to expand the integration.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus:
In fact, we're starting to reset the joint economic space. It implies the introduction of modern technologies, styles and methods of decision-making. The result of this work should be the formation of a qualitatively new environment for the turnover of goods and services, the creation of joint sectoral markets, the implementation of common financial, tax, credit, industrial and other policies. Cooperation of state administrative bodies must be brought to a new level tasking them to solve the issues of bilateral relations as a matter of priority taking into account the mutual interests.

The main thing in the alliance programs, said the President of Belarus, is taking into account mutual interests and creating tangible practical results for the citizens. The future of the Union State lies in the very principle of integration: not the suppression of sovereignty, but the expansion of opportunities for each side.
