A. Lukashenko on situation with migrants: Humanitarian disaster at the border

Alexander Lukashenko called the situation with migrants on the border with the EU a humanitarian catastrophe. The situation is deliberately aggravated by the actions of border agencies of the neighboring countries. The President discussed this issue with the military.

The leadership of a number of countries directly blames Belarus for organizing the crisis. Such slander is a pathetic attempt to divert attention from the egregious violations of the rights of refugees by those who have promised them protection. In just a week, attempts were recorded to squeeze more than 150 groups of migrants from the EU to our country. These are 2 300 people. Belarus will continue to provide all possible assistance to those who are in trouble.

The most important issue remains the defense of our own borders. The leaderships of the neighboring countries have embarked on a course of confrontation with Belarus, according to Alexander Lukashenko. There are many reasons for concern. Active training right at our borders is held. Poland pulls forward 250 tanks purchased from the United States. Exercises are being held in Ukraine with the participation of NATO countries. In fact, the US and NATO forces carry out the development of the strategic bridgehead.
