Alexander Lukashenko holds talks with Vladimir Putin in Moscow
Last Thursday, the President of Belarus held talks with his counterpart Vladimir Putin in the Russian capital. The meeting took place against the backdrop of a great scandal. It became known that an attempt was being prepared to assassinate Alexander Lukashenko and his children, and that Western countries might be involved in the conspiracy. Putin also dwelled on the issue after the final stage of special operation with detentions in Moscow.
The parties discussed economic issues as well as unification of taxation system, common digital standards in customs, fight against COVID-19 and general security. The President revealed the details of the meeting on Saturday during the conversation with Belarusian journalists on a Chernobyl trip.
