Alexander Lukashenko is sure: the creation of the CIS was the right decision

The Union State can offer the best practices to the EAEU and the Commonwealth of Independent States and become a driving force of the integration processes. Alexander Lukashenko said this today at the summit of the CIS. The Belarusian leader said that the CIS countries should unite their efforts to protect our interests in the world market via intensification of trade, investments and reduction of artificial barriers to minimum.

The CIS is thirty years old. In this anniversary year, our country is presiding in the association. During its history the Commonwealth has been transformed into the leading integration platform in the Post-Soviet space. Alexander Lukashenko is sure: the creation of the CIS after the collapse of the Soviet Union was the right decision.
