Aleinik discusses political and economic cooperation with Syrian foreign minister

On November 23, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleinik met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal Mikdad, in Damascus, BelTA informs with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

"During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the situation in the region and discussed further steps for implementation of the agreements, reached following the talks between the Belarusian and Syrian heads of government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus informs. In addition, special attention was paid to issues of political, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as cooperation within international organizations.
