There are serious prospects for the build-up of Belarusian machinery to Syria. We have the potential to expand industrial cooperation, use Syrian facilities and enterprises for joint production of in-demand mechanical engineering products. Since 2017, at the initiative and invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus, children from the Syrian Arab Republic annually come to our country for recreation, recreation and medical care. More than a thousand Syrian children have already recovered under this program. We intend to increase the volume of the programme and accept 225 Syrian boys and girls for recuperation in 2023.

Cooperation in many areas is also discussed in Damascus. The official visit of the Belarusian governmental delegation to the Arab Republic began. Negotiations with the Prime Minister began in a narrow format; now the meeting is held in the extended format. As a result, joint documents are expected to be signed.
