Belarus to continue strengthen peace and security in Europe

The official Minsk’s initiatives in the field of regional and global security are appreciated by the OSCE. This was discussed by the President of Belarus and the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Thomas Greminger. The meeting was held within the anti-terrorist conference. The head of state praised the OSCE peacekeeping role and assured that Belarus is fully aware of its responsibility as a participant, a reliable partner and a platform for dialogue on security.

Thomas Greminger, OSCE Secretary General: "Mr. President, let me thank you for the opportunity to visit Minsk. This is my fourth visit in the last 13-14 months. I want to express my deep gratitude for your active participation in promoting peace and security, your active cooperation with the OSCE, the holding of a number of meetings, including the contact group to resolve the situation in Ukraine, and the promotion of initiatives aimed at strengthening peace and security."
