Briefing on Belarus's accession to SCO held in Hungary
A briefing dedicated to our country's accession to the SCO was held at the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary.
"This day has already entered the history of the sovereign Belarusian state, and it is symbolic that the year of our country's admission to the SCO coincided with the 80th anniversary of Belarus's liberation from the Nazi-fascist invaders," emphasized the Ambassador of our country in his opening remarks.
Vladimir Ulakhovich emphasized the significant role of the SCO in ensuring peace, stability, and security in the region, as well as the development of economic and humanitarian cooperation.

"The event showed that Belarus has many friends. Reliable, proven, with great potential. And Belarus has enormous potential. When this can be put together, it will be a very worthy, high result."
MortezaMoradian, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Iran to Hungary, congratulated the Belarusians and colleagues from the SCO on the accession of the Republic of Belarus to this major regional organization. And he added: Belarus is a very important partner for the SCO, and its full participation is another message in support of peace and stability in the region.
The event was attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of the SCO member countries represented in Hungary, including Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. As well as diplomats from the Embassies of China and Kazakhstan, experts and journalists.
