Russian Foreign Minister: Good relations with the West come at a price
Russia is deeply concerned about the ongoing attempts of the U.S. and the EU to rudely interfere in the internal affairs of Belarus, while ignoring the actions of Minsk to consolidate society and carry out the constitutional reforms. This was stated by the head of the Foreign Ministry of Russia at the opening of the Meeting of the heads of security and intelligence services of the CIS countries.
"The actions of the EU show the real purpose for which the so-called Eastern Partnership was created, and at the same time they speak about the price one has to pay for good relations with the West," said the Minister. According to Lavrov, "the US and its allies are continuing their crude attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of the CIS countries. Their policy of replacing the unwanted governments remains in force. Yet, they are learning to adjust their tactics."
