Governor of Khabarovsk Krai invites Belarus President to banks of Amur
The experience of cooperation between Belarus and Russia should be attractive for other countries. There is an ongoing active dialogue not only at the level of the heads of Belarus and Russia, but also with the heads of Russian regions.
Today, Mikhail Degtyarev, Governor of Khabarovsk Krai, is visiting the Palace of Independence. He came to our country together with the business community. And our President said: despite the distance from Belarus to the Khabarovsk Krai, there is a need to build productive cooperation.
The head of state emphasized that distances do not play a major role in the development of trade and economic cooperation. "We have normal means of communication. So we have to trade. And trade is the basis of any economy. We can supply you equipment, various machinery, construction materials, food and industrial products," the President said. "But it is too easy. We should switch to cooperation. We are ready for you not only to come here and set up cooperative enterprises, we are ready to work with you in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. You know our economy, we export almost as much as we consume. Therefore, we can develop some areas in other countries and regions of the Russian Federation.”
Lukashenko: The experience of cooperation between Belarus and Russia should be attractive for other countries
Belarus offers a wide range of products and services to Khabarovsk
The economic cooperation with the region last year was positive. The trade turnover exceeds $18 million. However, this figure could be much higher. And it is necessary to cover all possible spheres of interaction. The development of cooperation, implementation of joint investment and innovation projects in housing and social construction, and the agro-industrial complex. And, as the President noted, it is not just about post-Academy projects, but also about more serious joint work. On the whole, Belarus offers a wide range of products and services to the region.
М. Degtyarev: Foreign sanctions have made import substitution of business brains
The delegation from the Khabarovsk Krai will stay in our country for three days. During this time they plan to visit the leading enterprise that produces road-building, municipal, snow-cleaning, forestry and agricultural equipment. The Governor of the Khabarovsk Krai noted that the delegation has come to our country not only on a governmental, but also on a business mission. The economic pressure from the West prompts them to do so.
Foreign sanctions, Western sanctions, have seriously brainwashed, as we call it, our entrepreneurs, who are completely rebuilding their logistics and product chains, primarily to the East and, of course, including Belarus as an allied republic of ours. So we will buy new BELAZ trucks, MAZ trucks, buses, production lines for dairy production, we will definitely build a farm. We will come to BelAgro in June and see all the opportunities that Belarus can offer to our farmers
The Governor of Khabarovsk Krai invited the President to visit the banks of the Amur River
Mikhail Degtyarev also invited Alexander Lukashenko to visit Khabarovsk Krai, the banks of the Amur River. And the occasion could be the CHL match between Dynamo-Minsk and Amur.
