Eurasian Economic Union adopts new principles of work at Intergovernmental Council in Minsk
The world has entered an era of economic turbulence, and the former globalization will no longer exist. Under sanctions pressure, it is important to respond to all the challenges in a timely manner. The import substitution and industrial cooperation in high-tech industries will be developed even more actively in the Union. To this end, the work of a special commission will be reformatted to make the necessary decisions more quickly. The heads of governments of the EAEU countries also discussed joint actions in the field of consumer protection and digitalization of all sectors of the economy. Food security issues are coming to the forefront.
According to the results of Belarus' mutual trade with the EAEU countries, there was a 10% increase in trade turnover in 4 months, and this is taking into account the high base of last year. It is important to maintain positive dynamics, while increasing exports to friendly countries.
