Prime Minister R. Golovchenko arrives on working visit to Kazakhstan

The prime ministers of the two countries spoke about cooperation between Belarusian and Kazakh enterprises on June 26. Roman Golovchenko is currently on a working visit to Kazakhstan. In terms of exports, Kazakhstan is one of our top ten trading partners, and there are also many joint ventures, which are operating at a profit and constantly expanding their product lines and assembly areas.

The premiers in Kazakhstan today talked about working together. There are projects that have been in operation for years, others are still in the planning stage. They decided to discuss everything on the spot just on the production sites of the Kostanay Region. This is a largely industrial territory open to worthwhile proposals.

Kostanay is also famous for its car companies. For example, 9 brands of cars come off these conveyors. The battery-powered cars are also assembled here. Today, the Belarusian Prime Minister talked about the electric cars. Our electric buses have already been appreciated by passengers in many countries, and the number of electric cars on their roads is growing. It is also necessary to assess the competitors.

Our MTZ has come to this region seriously and for a long time. There is a network of three assembly plants and a trading house. Today Roman Golovchenko discussed deep localization of tractor production. A shop for production of universal tractor cabins will be launched by the end of the year. And we are waiting for the first one at the beginning of the next year. The fields of Kazakhstan need new machinery. Almost half of the fleet should be replaced. Large assembly areas will solve this problem. Today, they assemble tractors here in one shift, but they are ready to go out in three shifts as well. After all, the factory management assures the premier that the demand for Belarusian tractors will grow. They are showing excellent performance in business.

But not only tractors are needed in Kazakhstan's vast farmland, but also combine harvesters, seeders and forage harvesters. The range of offers grows from year to year. There are cooperative relations with many of our enterprises.

Among the important partners is Sokolovsko-Sorbaiskoe Mining and Processing Association, the leader in supplies of iron ore and aluminum to the Eurasian Economic Union. The agricultural sector and construction of farms based on Belarusian technologies are also of interest to our partners.
