Lebedev: Union State security against external influences will be ensured

Security of the Union State against external influences will be ensured. This was stated by Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev. Security of citizens and territorial integrity is a strategic issue. Minsk and Moscow are monitoring the situation and responding to the activity near the borders of the Union State. Following the meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, S-400 and Iskander complexes were deployed in Belarus.

Geopolitical turbulence dictates the conditions for intensifying meetings at different levels. In a week, an informal meeting of the CIS heads of state will be held in St. Petersburg at the invitation of the President of Russia.
