Lukashenko: Belarus and Russia place great emphasis on industrial sector

Belarus and Russia give a high priority to the industrial sector. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, BelTA informs.

"We stake on the industrial sector in cooperation with Russia. That is why the Russian President and I once again paid special attention to this area during the bilateral talks and the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State last week," said Alexander Lukashenko.

The President gave an example of industrial cooperation with Tatarstan. There is the trade and manufacturing company MTZ-Tatarstan in Kazan, which has become a hub for selling products of many Belarusian enterprises. And Minsk Motor Plant together with its Tatarstan partners creates modern gas engines.
