The President noted that the relations between the two countries, no matter how good they are, should be improved. But in any changes, innovations, one should remember first of all about the sovereignty and independence. "The system is common, similar, but there should be two sovereign, independent states," he pointed out.

As for some statements, including those in the media, that Belarus is allegedly losing its independence, the President said they are absolutely groundless.
