Lukashenko: Belarus is not going to get involved in war

Belarus will fight only if it is necessary to protect one's home and land. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a dialogue with journalists, BelTA informs.

The President has once again assured that Belarus is not going to hold any mobilization, as well as to get involved in a war. "We'll fight only when we have to defend our home and our land," he stressed.

Earlier, at a meeting with journalists, Alexander Lukashenko said that opponents are trying to hold on to something and now they are also trying to develop the idea that Belarus can carry out mobilization similar to the one in Russia. "There will be no mobilization. We are not going to mobilize. This is a lie," said Alexander Lukashenko.

However, the President stressed that Belarus will definitely respond to possible threats and attempts to commit acts of terrorism. For this purpose, various exercises are being held on a regular basis, including those involving the people's militia, so that people knew their duties and had the necessary military skills.
