Lukashenko signs ordinance on development of bilateral relations with China
Belarus is strengthening cooperation with China. The Ordinance No 9 "On the Development of Bilateral Relations between Belarus and China" will help to promote it. The document has been signed today by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The Ordinance is aimed at fostering the strategic partnership between our country and China in a wide range of areas in 2021-2025 and is a logical continuation of the Ordinance for 2015-2021.
Strengthening cooperation in the political sphere, preserving and multiplying the values of friendship and mutual support, increasing trade, economic, financial and investment cooperation, and implementing the Belt and Road Initiative are defined as priority tasks for the near future. Expanding interregional ties, developing cooperation in the military and military-technical fields, in the digital economy and information and communication technologies, strengthening scientific and technical cooperation, and developing relations in the humanitarian sphere are also among the important tasks. Government agencies and other organizations were instructed to ensure the implementation of about fifty specific practical programs. The effective implementation of these goals will help bring the bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
