Lukashenko signs law "On Amendments to the Codes on Administrative Liability"
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a law "On Amendments to the Administrative Liability Codes," BelTA informed referring to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The law aims to implement the Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus № 10 "On the Inadmissibility of Price Increases" of October 6, 2022 and is designed to protect the interests of citizens, as well as ensure the supply of goods to the domestic consumer market at economically justified prices.
For this purpose it is planned to establish administrative liability for failure to provide information related to the formation of prices for consumer goods in trade documents, or providing incomplete or incorrect information.
These violations will be punishable by a fine of up to 20 basic salaries (Br640), and for business entities up to 10% of the monetary value of the respective economic operations, reflected in the trade documents.
