Lukashenko: Attempts to strangle Belarus and Russia have failed, we will survive

Attempts to strangle Belarus and Russia have failed. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, BelTA informs.

"We have finished the year. I know very well the results of the year in Russia. We have roughly the same results of the year. It's very good that we've reached a balance of trade in trade and economic relations with the Russian Federation. The balance is even slightly higher, in favor of Belarus. It means that the attempts to strangle us, both Russia and Belarus, have actually failed. We will definitely survive," stressed the Belarusian leader.
