Belarusian Foreign Ministry: Poland's statement is nothing but affirmations
The Poland's statements about itsalleged readiness to help refugeessound cynical and absurd. Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister announced some kind of humanitarian aid. It would be better for the Polish authorities to "help" Lithuania, which is known for the inhuman conditions of the refugees, or the famous Belarusian extremists, whom Warsaw shelters.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry commented on this statement:
"It is absurd and ridiculous to hear statements about any readiness to help "people in a difficult situation" from the representative of the country, where refugees are beaten half to death, even disabled children are illegally moved out, and a state of emergency is introduced in order to hide it. Poland not only ignores the decisions of the international organizations and the provisions of the relevant documents, but also openly refuses to comply with the demands of the European Court of Human Rights to help refugees stuck on the border."
It is precisely Belarusian citizens and NGOs who help Afghan refugees. Such statements by Warsaw are nothing but political maneuvering and populist affirmations, having nothing to do with the objective reality and the true state of affairs, says the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
