Moscow to fully support Minsk amid EU sanctions
The European Union is shifting the responsibility for the new round of the migration crisis on Belarus. And it intends to introduce a new package of sanctions amid the noise of information. However, Belarus won't remain isolated from the world. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova says Moscow will fully support Minsk and the people of Belarus.
This crisis is caused by the West's forceful interventions in the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as the consequences of the failed operation in Afghanistan. We consider the unilateral Western sanctions against sovereign states unacceptable, illegitimate from the point of view of international law, and we confirm our determination to fully support Belarus and its people.
According to Maria Zakharova, it is unacceptable to use migration issues as an occasion for imposing sanctions both against Belarus and other countries.
