Ensuring security is a top priority before referendum in Belarus
We all remember the notorious saying of Alexander Lukashenko - they will not let us live in peace. The President knew what he was talking about. The West no longer hides its intentions and has almost stopped hiding behind the word "democracy" while destroying the entire countries, searching for and financing the outright social outcasts inside them. February is not going to be easy either. First of all, we have a referendum ahead of us. It is already clear that they will use anything they can to try to undermine the country on the eve of an important and momentous event. Therefore, harassment and threats to respectable Belarusians are spread again. The extremist formations abroad discuss creation of entire Internet-platforms for publication of the data of election commission members. But the times have changed. Instead offear and the expected refusal to fulfill the duties expected fromthem, the fugitive rebels received a flashmob under the hashtag "we are not afraid" in response.
The President made an important point: we can organize a referendum for a peaceful expression of will and protect everyone who participates in it. This was a reaction to the already emerging attacks on the members of precinct commissions.
We need collective immunity from manipulation of public consciousness. The events of 2020 were a painful, but effective inoculation against informational and psychological pressure.
Strengthening security is the main task of the President. It is possible that the West may blackmail Belarus by military means. The NATO forces in the region keep building up.
