Peskov: Lukashenko and Putin exchange opinions almost every day
Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin exchange opinions and coordinate their actions literally every day. This was stated to reporters by press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, BelTA informs.
"Alexander Lukashenko is the head of our brotherly and allied Belarus. He is a very experienced, wise statesman, seasoned in various battles, with whom President Putin has very good not only allied, but long-standing friendly relations. So, of course, the exchange of views of the presidents, coordination of actions and so on is something that happens virtually on a daily basis, especially when the security element comes to the fore amid aggressive manifestations around our countries," said the Kremlin spokesman.
Russian journalists also asked Dmitry Peskov to comment on today's words by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who said that he, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Yevgeny Prigozhin should not be made a hero in the situation around the attempted mutiny in Russia. "I don't think I have the right to comment on Alexander Grigorievich. Russian President Vladimir Putin just yesterday praised his efforts to resolve this crisis," the Russian leader's spokesman said.
