Kazakh President thanks CSTO for real military brotherhood

CSTO leaders discussed the situation in Kazakhstan and spoke in favor of further strengthening of military and political integration. The extraordinary session was held in the format of a video conference. Kazakhstan's President thanked the CSTO for a true military brotherhood.

Today it is already clear that a targeted terrorist attack was behind the so-called peaceful protests with the main goal to undermine the constitutional order and attempt at a coup d'etat.

Thanks to the actions of the CSTO peacekeeping forces, Kazakhstan was able to distribute internal resources to bring order to the streets, where looters and armed gangs were rampant.

According to the Belarusian leader, it is necessary to raise the level of political interaction and coordination of positions in the international arena. The forms and methods of hybrid influence on the post-Soviet countries are qualitatively up-graded. It is necessary to develop the adequate response measures within the CSTO framework.
