Presidium of Council of the Republic adopts statement following results of OSCE PA meeting

The actions of Western politicians do not meet the interests of ordinary people and create systemic socio-economic problems. The Presidium of the Council of the Republic adopted a statement following the meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The document stresses: "The growing wave of rallies in European countries, including Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France, is an evidence that European officials and parliamentarians do not hear their people when they promote the war agenda in international and inter-parliamentary structures." The statement notes that "during the session in Vienna, the majority of Western representatives and parliamentarians of national delegations, the leadership of the Assembly supported the continuation of the war in Ukraine and the increase of arms supplies. The members of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic "strongly condemn such a strategy, which is unable to lead to a peaceful settlement.
