Draft of updated Constitution to be presented for public discussion in the first half of December

The draft of the renewed Constitution will be presented to the public in the near future. Changing the Constitution is a challenge not only for the experts and the authorities. We need to involve as many citizens as possible in the discussion. Further work will continue at platforms during the nationwide discussion. It is important to talk about moving forward and it is important to support this conversation.

The Expert Commission encourages Belarusians to take an active part in the discussion. Representatives of the working group will take into account all suggestions in order to a final version of the Constitution that will preserve its social orientation,adherence to strong state and its traditions and values, based on the results of the nationwide discussion.
