The coming year of 2023 will be the happiest and most successful one. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the journalists on his arrival at the informal meeting of the CIS leaders, BelTA informs.

While answering the question about what the year 2023 will be like, the President said: "This will be the happiest, the most successful year. Don't worry, it will be fine.

The President was also asked about his mood before the summit. He explained that the mood is getting better as the New Year approaches, "It cannot be better, and the New Year will be the best," he said.

The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library has been chosen as the venue of the summit. The institution is located in the center of St. Petersburg in the historic building of the Synod on Senate Square. The building of the library is often used for this kind of meetings and summits.

The Christmas informal meetings of heads of state have already become a good tradition. Russian President Vladimir Putin invited his counterparts to meet in St. Petersburg at the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union in Bishkek on December 9.
